Apex Cartridges - Hollow Liner (HL) Tattoo Needles

Give your outlines a stronger presence with APEX Hollow Round Liner Tattoo Cartridges. Designed for artists who enjoy bold, defined linework, the hollow grouping arranges the needles around an open centre, offering a different feel from a conventional tightly packed round liner.

Whether you are building traditional outlines, shaping lettering or adding structure to an illustrative piece, APEX HRL cartridges give you a dedicated hollow liner option for your setup.

Available in 7, 8 and 10 Hollow Round Liner configurations, each using 0.35mm needles. Supplied in boxes of 20 individually packed cartridges.

EO-gas sterilised and individually blister packed for single use.

What Is a Hollow Round Liner?

An open-centre arrangement

HRL stands for Hollow Round Liner. The hollow refers to the space at the centre of the needle grouping, not to the individual needle points.

A different lining option

The arrangement offers an alternative to a conventional round liner when choosing the feel and character of your outlines.

Choosing your line weight

Needle count alone does not determine the finished line width. Grouping, taper, machine setup and technique all influence the result.

How do I choose between 7, 8 and 10 HRL?

Choose according to your preferred grouping and the line weight you want to create. Test your setup on practice skin when getting familiar with a new configuration.
